Eric M. Fennema, O.D.

Dr. Fennema is a 1985 graduate of the Southern California College of Optometry with a Doctor of Optometry Degree. He is the fourth in a family of optometrists, and has been in private practice since 1988. Dr. Fennema has a therapeutic license which allows him to diagnose and treat eye disease with a wide range of pharmaceutical agents.

Dr. Fennema comanages with laser vision correction with world recognized laser surgeon Thomas S. Tooma, M.D. since its early investigational stage in the United States. He is a member of the TLC Laser Eye Center Ontario Advisory Board.

Dr. Fennema has a special interest in sports vision, and is a member of the American Optometric Sports Vision Section.

His sincere interest in people has kept his loyal patients to return each year for over 20 years. He spends much time in community service as a school district advisor, a high school mentor and head start advisor, and is member of the Chamber of Commerce. He is also an active member of the Revival Christian fellowship church in Menifee.

Eileen

Eileen is our Office Manager. She is responsible for maintaining efficient operations in the Optical Office. She has an employment background history of eleven years of retail management. She excels in providing customers with product knowledge and assuring high quality service to every customer's needs.

Eileen is a certified optician with six years experience in the optical lens and frame industry. She is skilled and knowledgeable in the preliminary testing of the eyes which includes retinal photography, visual fields, blood pressure, and computerized refraction. She specializes in the fitting of eyeglasses and contact lenses to meet expectations of their personal fit and comfort. As a mother of two, Eileen is very patient with children.

Leatha

Leatha is our Optometric Assistant and is involved in all aspects of the Optical Office. She is very knowledgeable in the preliminary testing of the eyes which includes retinal photography, blood pressure reading, visual fields, and computerized refraction.

She specializes in fitting and cutting of eyewear. She is experienced in fitting and dispensing of contact lenses Leatha is committed to every patient's satisfaction.

Recsie

Recsie is our insurance coordinator. She is responsible for obtaining insurance eligibility as well as preliminary testing, billing and front office. She is well rounded in all areas of the office from frame selection to dispensing of the glasses.

Sonia

Sonia is our Clerical Coordinator and is involved in bookkeeping, payroll, budget preparation and helps where needed.

Jennifer

Jennifer is one of our newest addition to our office. She has over five years in customer service. She has recently been trained in preliminary testing which includes the computerized refraction, retinal photography, visual fields, and blood pressure reading. As part of her current training, she is learning the billing responsibilities of the office as well to better serve you!
